There is a lack of information about the demographics and learning styles of automotive technology students. Thus, this quantitative research was conducted to identify the demographic and learning styles of automotive students and any relationships between the demographic characteristics and learning styles. There were 298 students from Southern Illinois University Carbondale and Ranken Technical College that participated in the study. A paper form of Fleming's (2001) VARK learning style and a generic demographic instrument was used to gather data. The study found 76.6% (227) of the participants preferred a learning style that was associated with a kinesthetic learning style. In addition, there was no statistically significant relationship between the two variables.
